Column Headings in Microsoft Outlook

Outlook

So you receive email for 3 different accounts, and you want to organize them best without putting them in different folders, but you can't see to whom the email was addressed.

Or perhaps you want to see the size of the attachments of various emails.

Moving, adding, and deleting column headings (called Fields) in Outlook is incredibly simple, and the method hasn't changed since Outlook 97.

To Add a Column

Right-click any one of your column headings and hit Field Chooser.

From the field chooser, just drag one of the column headings up to the top of your inbox list and place it where desired. For instance, the From field is dragged up, and placed between the Size field and the To field. I send from many different email addresses. This way, I can sort my Sent Items folder by which address was used to send it.
