Printing Ranges in Microsoft Word

You first have to understand that the Print What box expects information from your document regarding the page numbering you've inserted, and not necessarily page numbering that's automatically assigned.

So, while you may want to print page 6 of section 3, putting 6 in the Pages box won't necessarily work.
