Lost Stop Recording Toolbar in Microsoft Word

I do this all the time, and it would be so frustrating if I didn't know how to get it back. All too often, I hit the X instead of the Stop button.

If you've done the same, take these 3 quick steps.

  1. Go to Tools Macro Record New Macro.

  2. Go to View Toolbars and choose the Stop Recording toolbar.

  3. Hit the Stop recording button on the Stop Recording toolbar.
