This task is simple once you know how. Microsoft Excel's DataàSort feature only provides sorting by three columns. What most people don't realize is that you can only sort by three columns at a time.
So, just sort in reverse by sets of three.
Suppose you have 4 columns by which you want to sort. Choose DataàSort and sort by the 4th column. Then sort again, and sort by the first 3 columns.
Have 8 columns you need to sort by? Then first sort by the 7th and 8th columns, then by the 4th, 5th, and 6th, and then by the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. That's it!
